Excellent place to shoot, Don and Linda (owners) are amazing, always helpful and have helped improve my girlfriends son go from single digits to high teens in a couple visits, Hall of fame shooters not just club owners here!

My son Michael is just getting started in the shooting sports and has shot trap and skeet there. I have shot some in the past, but know just enough to know I don’t know alot. The people there are SUPER! Not only Don, who has helped us both a bunch, but the other patrons are super, and will bend over backwards to help a young shooter feel comfortable while still giving tips and pointers. A great place to shoot, and get started. Really really nice people.

This is a great, friendly place to shoot. I just started shooting trap and Don was a great help. I am very excited about learning more and plan on shooting at the DLS shooting range often.

My brother Richard lives a short distance away in Bettendorf and he introduced me and my husband Brian to the club whilst we were on holiday in September 2007. Don and Linda (the DL in DLS) made us very welcome and the members are very friendly. Although we only shoot english skeet (no station 8) they encouraged us on station 8 and helped a great deal. My brother still takes his son up there to shoot trap and are very helpful.

DLS is a great place. The guy who runs it is patient and willing to help a novice like me. There is a restriction on high velocity lead shot (due to a dispute with a neighbor) but they sell steel shot shells for rock bottom prices at the pro shop. Never real busy – good for me but unfortunate for the owners.
