Nice place, but fairly spendy. We shot the Green (“Easy”) and the Blue (“Advanced”) courses – skipped the Red (“Intermediate”). The Blue had some interesting birds but overall was less challenging than I expected – both me and the fellow I went with got better scores on it than we normally do at our regular club.
The courses, grounds, and clubhouse are absolutely immaculate. Stopped by the adjacent winery after shooting, the wine is decent and the attached deli makes terrific sandwiches. They’ve got a hotel on the grounds and they put on organized hunts – overall the feeling is much more “resort” than “local gun club.” Definitely a nice environment and probably will go back, but couldn’t see myself becoming a regular.

Very nice estate, very well kept. Courses are nicely laid out and clean. The green course was good for novice shooters, took about 2hrs to walk for 2 shooters. A bit pricy, but considering the overall property, it was worth the experience.

This is the best course for all that take the time to go here. Not always the easiest to get to, but the bird and the people make it all worth the trip. Good birds based on your own skill levels, and the time to shoot all 2 to 3 courses that are available. Worth the time to stop and play.

Very disapointed, shot ridge course no imagination in presentation of clays. Tried to pay in advance but staff said to pay after, had to wait 45 minutes to pay.

My wife and i were traveling from cincy to fla. I’ve heard alot about elk creek. We were nearby and we stopped to check it out. Just to look around…. Well, we ran into manager gary kathman. What a great guy. In about 10 minutes, gary had me equipped with a beretta semi, shells, eyes, ears, pouch, cart, puller “chad”, (another good guy) and i was dustin’ clays on one of the coolest courses i have ever seen. What a great time. These folks know how to treat a customer. We had such a good time, we stayed the night at the lodge. Do yourself a favor and make elk creek a must see and shoot facility. It’s so well worth it.

Friendly people, beautiful setting — surrounded by vineyards. Two separate SC courses, + five stand.
Don’t miss lunch at the nearby Smith House restaurant — nobody leaves a stranger.

Very nice place to shoot. Very friendly people to deal with. You don’t want to miss this beautiful range if you are passing thru the area.

I find the facility to be overwhelming with fun and enjoyment. A place where you can get away from it all. With a wide variety of birds from clay to live. The people are as nice as the view looking out of the lodge. And the lodge is so exquisite. You can’t ask for a better hunting club then Elk Creek. So if someone would ask me about a hunting club. I would have to say “Elk Creek is the place to go”.

This is the “Club Med” of shooting ranges. A 5-star facility. Excellent courses offering 2 different sporting clays courses. Beautiful country setting with modern equipment and a fully stocked club house.
