I have been to Fish Hawk several times in the last five years. Always found it to be a nice sporting clay venue ( shoot as many as 10 different venues a year)–Myself and three friends arrived this AM with the expectation of shooting the white course as a warm up with or sub-gauges before moving to the red course with the 12 ga. Well we shot the 50 target white course, paid our fees and packed up. It was terrible. No less than five traps malfunctioned, mostly because of batteries. We called the club house for assistance and no one showed up. Ended up shooting our 50 birds at only 6 stations.
Also, the course was a mess with empty shells scattered all over.
We agreed that we will not return !!

I’m fairly new to Sporting Clays. Orlando doesn’t have any Sporting Clay courses. For me there are 2 viable options because of the drive time (Tenorac, Fish Hawk). Tenorac is about 45 minutes drive from the attraction area in Orlando. It has a very nice basic course total of about 12 stands with a good mix of difficulty. New automatic equipment, lot’s of big oaks trees, employees are very friendly. Fish Hawk is about 1:30 minute drive from the attraction area. Two Sporting Clays courses (one easier 10 stand course & the other 16 stand is much more challenging) they also have very nice trap, skeet and 5 stand courses. The facility is very nice, all new equipment, has the big oak trees, water features ect… Between the two, Fish Hawk is the better facility, it’s more expensive. But worth it. If I don’t have as much time, Tenorac is still a great option! Hope this helps!

Shot sporting clays here in January. Two courses allowed us to select a mix of targets. Well-kept grounds and equipment, friendly people. Plan to return next year.
Location is very remote; you won’t find this place by accident, but my Garmin knew about it.

Introduced step son to sporting clays on the short course. Had great time. Will shoot main course next trip. Definitely will return on next trip to FL. Very nice facility. Family oriented; friendly and helpful staff.

Excellent club to shoot. The facilities are very nice and reasonably priced. The staff was very helpful and nice. The sporting clays course of 16 stations and 100 birds offered a lot of variety and ranged from reasonable to challenging. I did not experience a single malfuntion of traps or other equipment. Its only 45 minutes from Tampa. Its very clean and has a numbero of courses. The five stand course was close and chalenging. The staff member who pulled birds was very helpful and friendly. They also have a well stocked pro shop.

Excellent place to shoot a few clays by yourself, with a friend, or a bunch of friends. There is a covered picnic area to hang out and chill.
If you are new to the sport of clay shooting, the friendly and knowledgeable staff will walk you through the basics of this sport.

Very impressed with the facility. Great course setup – two actual courses, easy and intermediate. Trap machines work very well, shooting stations are easy to locate and comfortable to shoot in. Course is very well designed and easy to navigate. Pro Shop sells shotgun shells – Rio’s. Great experience, staff is very friendly and helpful. 5 stand is of excellent design. Recommended chokes to have – SK, IMP CYL, MOD – you not need the FULL choke. Can get away with IC/MOD the entire course. If shooting yourself the traps can be set on delay i.e program the trap to release the target at a programmed time delay 2, 3, 4 etc… seconds – very cool feature. Golf carts can be rented if you do not fell like getting a workout. All and great course, friendly staff once of the best clubs I have shot at (I’ve been around quite a few). Great Job Fish Hawk.

This is a brilliant facility hands down. I have shot SC’s twice and it is managed by caring and knowledgeable staff to the highest standards. The track is well laid out and beautiful with a noticeable attention to detail. The course offers targets for shooters of different skill levels and experience. Fishhawk SC will typically have staff touring and inspecting the course to see if you need help or assistance and ensure you are taken care of and the traps are working properly. The staff is very friendly and professional. I highly recommend this course and when you are done take a break at the new veranda/patio.

I have watched the progress of this club from planning to completion and it has exceeded my expectations. The facilities are very good and will get even better. The course is well laid out with wide cart paths and plenty of room between stations to avoid “bunching up”. The target presentations are changed one a regular basis and there are targets to suit beginner to Master class shooters. The Tampa area is very fortunate to have this shooting facility.

Fishhawk Sporting Clays is a first class facility with a 13 station Sporting Clay course, wobble trap, trap, and 5 stand. The owners and staff are very personable and helpful. Prices are very reasonable, especially if you become a member, and a premier membership is available with dove hunting in a 20 acre field adjacent to the 57 acre range when dove are in season. Stands are new, equipment is top notch, course is laid out well with wide range of target presentation that will let novices break some clays and challenge experienced shooters on others. You want to shoot a great range with great people and leave with some money in your pocket, come to Fishhawk Sporting Clays.

This is the most fun you can have with your pants on! With a five stand, a regular and a wobble trap, and course they periodically change up, you’ve always got something to do. Their staff are both friendly and helpful. I’d highly recommend Fishhawk to anyone.

Fishhawk clays is the best thing to happen in our area in twenty years. wayne, buzz, ryan and lou are running a classy facility, the best sporting clay course i’ve ever shot. The five stand humbled me as well, though i’m an average shooter on a good day. I highly recommend this course for all levels of shooters, it was well planned and is addicting to any of us who love guns. Just tell em jack sent you, that should be good for a nickel discount.
