It is a very nice facility. The folks there were helpful and I enjoyed shooting two rounds of skeet. Thanks for the hospitality and helpful hints. I appreciated the tips.

After years of driving to Freeland to enjoy the club I finally joined three years ago despite also having a membership at my own town’s club. Freeland is a clay shooters paradise as it is all about shotgun sports and this singular focus allows them to flourish. The sporting clays course is changed often enough to keep it interesting but not so often that you can’t develop strategies to tackle tough stations. I would rate the challenge level at just above average making it suitable for veterans as well as new shooters. The clays course can be shot solo which can be nice if you drop in alone. The 5-stand course is my favorite in the state and of course the skeet and trap ranges are up to par. Above all it is a very friendly club in which visitors will never experience a condescending member but instead a friendliness that will make you want to stay all day.

I was at your club on Sunday March 11,2007. Had a very good time, everyone I met was very polite and friendly. I shot 1 round of skeet and one trip on sporting clays. I would like to mention 7 of us came from Midland Sportsman club, our club was closed due to hunter safety classes being held. I think I speak for all of us. Keep up the good work. Thanks again for a safe and fun outing. Thom. Craycraft.
