The people who run Fort Lee Skeet & Trap Range and the regular shooters, meaning the people who are out there a lot, do a great job welcoming new shooters, especially young Soldiers. I have seen military shooting facilities where new/young shooters were intimidated by the old gang. Not the case here. This is a great facility for everyone.

A group of us who are all retired shoot at this range at least once a week. In fact my wife has given us the name of the REDS (retired and extremely dangerous shooters). Bob, who manages the range is extremely professional and helpful to all the shooters, especially first timers. For the price and the atmosphere, you will not be disappointed.

The range just went through a wonderful remodeling and is fresh as the day it was built. Still great targets for just 3.00 a game. How can you go wrong? You cant. Come and see. You will enjoy the visit.

I had the honor of being stationed here in the 80’s. I’ve watched this club grow from its conception to its current status as a fine and well organized range. I’ve been shooting here for over 25 years. Both new and experienced shooters will fit right in. The log cabin use to be the ranges, but custody was transferred to a different division; thus, the only shade you have in the summer is under a tin roof hut. Yep, it’s hot and yep, it’s cold in the winter. Dress accordingly when you come and bring plenty of refreshments. There is no night shooting on this range. Be aware that porta potty’s are your only plumbing. This is a very clean, friendly, and very peaceful range. Even though it’s on an active duty base, most of the shooters are happy military retirees, so there’s no waiting. Come and enjoy.
