I moved from New Jersey to york and was looking for a place to trap shoot. I hadn’t been trap shooting for about eighteen years and wanted to get back into it. When I visited this place it was like I belonged to it for years. The people where so nice and accommodating. John Elmore helped me get back into a groove in shooting again. Some of the other members also pitched in with their years of experience. I can’t say enough to praise how these people are towards outsiders.

Great Club!!!! John and Jesse will bend over backwards to make you feel welcome and to help you out. Great with “mature” kids and adults.. My 15 year old daughter shoots there at least once a week….

After hanging out with some of the most friendly persons around for several months, I decided to become a member of this club. Small but big on service, knowledge, and the best prices around! Come out and shoot a round with us and you will want to come back!

Went after reading other posts. Was wary about going for first time. Have been looking for a place to shoot trap since moving to the state. Was greeted by the president as well as others throughout tue afternoon/evening. Was invited by multiple shooters to join their squads. All voice activated fields and friendly members. Was surprised and pleased to see numerous women and children to include young women shooting. Will definitely go back. Pricing was the best I have seen. Only bad side is they are only open on Thursday’s, however I was told that they are usually open later than 8 pm since most members work until evening and show up late. Definitely recommend going. Just don’t be shy about talking to other shooters to get on a squad…. Happy Shooting!!

I had a great time shooting with the Glen Rock Shooting Club. Everyone there was very friendly. I don’t get out shooting much so I tend to be rather rusty when I do get out. The president of the club offered his assistance when I was discussing my background with him and I ended up getting a multi-hour private lesson. That was just what I needed. I found the atmosphere to be very laid back. I plan on going back again as soon as I can.

Sometime ago while visiting my daughter in York, PA I drove down to the Glen Rock Club. Nice facility from what I could see. After standing around in the club house for about a half an hour where 6-7 shooters were I finally left after getting what I felt was a cold shoulder. No greeting, no invitation to join the squad, actually there wasn’t a full squad anyhow, nothing. I thought my deodorant failed. I left without taking my gun out of the case. Doubt if I’ll ever go back. This was the most unfriendly club I have ever visited from Florida to Maine. Maybe they need some prune juice. Why so late writing? It’s been eating on me everytime I drive by on my way to my daughter’s which is a 5 hour drive from my home in Virginia. Sure would like to have a place to shoot when I visit her.
