Great facility, shot today. The owner is very friendly and helpful to new shooters, made sure it was fun and not intimidating, he even offered some pointers and tips to improve the shooting!

My friend Bob Wilson and I visited Gunsmoke on 10/17/14. This was our first time shooting sporting clays and we had a blast, no pun intended. Lee was very helpful in teaching us the ropes and a great guy to just talk with. We shot the 50 bird round and had so much fun that we shot another 50 bird round. This could become addicting, we will definitely go back.

I found Gunsmoke by searching online, I read previous reviews, and decided to check it out. This place was great for any level of amateur shooter/hunter who wants to shoot at a moving target and get practice with their shotgun. Lee is friendly and helpful. Since it was our first time at Gunsmoke and we aren’t experienced range shooters, he went to the first station and showed us how the range is set up. Then we were on our own. We had a great experience, worth every penny!

I went with a friend and my son and we had a great time. I promised Lee that we wouldn’t break many of his clay targets 🙂 I took my son back the next weekend and we shot again. Lee is a very nice person and interesting to talk with… It is well worth trying out.

The throwers were pretty cool. They were mechanical kind of like a pitching machine, adjustable in all directions and for a challenge you can make it move randomly. Didn’t do the full course but already have plans to do it soon. All and all great place to go and one of few if not the only in this area.

This place was great! I found it on a google search on this website. I went out there with my wife and we had lots of fun. 10 traps stations with two independent throwers at each station. The course was challenging for a seasoned skeet shooter. Lee (the owner operator) was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place!
10 stations
2 throwers at each station
All of them functional
I am located in Fayetteville and it took me 45 minutes to get from my front door to the parking lot. The GPS on my phone took me there with no problems.

I use to live in Springdale.
Would go almost every Friday & sometimes Saturday,
Well worth the 45 min. drive.
Now I only get to go once or twice a year.
Sure do miss the facility & the family there!
Beautiful setting, out in the rolling hill country of NW Arkansas.
Fun & challenging targets, with great camaraderie!
If it’s you’re first time, tell Lee, & he’ll give you a hand.
TOO MUCH FUN!!!
YOU MUST GO GIVE IT A SHOT!!!!

Great facility. You can drive the course, but it’s probably easier to walk it if you’re able — most of the stations are close together and the course is shaped like a “U” so you work your way down from the “clubhouse” and then come back. If you drive it, it’s kind of a hassle to keep stopping/starting the truck, storing the gun properly, etc.
Very well maintained, you shoot into the woods, but behind you is an open field. It was a good variety of targets: some easy some hard, some fast some slow.
I look forward to going back. They really need to advertise more (at least maybe flyers in the local gun shops) — I found them on here, but haven’t heard of them otherwise.

Lee is an outstanding host. Some friends and I from all over the country gathered together for a float trip down a nearby river. We wanted to test our skills and compete at some sporting clays and we found this great place to shoot. Look forward to returning again this year.

I’m not one to write reviews, however after my visit today I felt compelled to make sure they get credit for a job well done. They are very helpful and friendly shooting range. I’m just getting my son introduced to shooting, and this is the PERFECT range to do this.
Thanks!!!!
