My wife and I shot skeet here September 24 and 25. Huge facility that is very clean and well run. We stopped in at the building across from the 007 Paintball sign to pay and followed the signs further to the trap and skeet ranges. We were met by a city employee who acted as the range safety officer and pulled targets for us. All in all an enjoyable experience. The “club” if you join, allows you to pull your own targets as you will then be under their insurance.
Looking forward to visiting again when next in the ABQ area.

A note to Robert Christopher….thanks Bob for taking pity on the three lost souls you found out at the Albuq Shooting Facility 11-4-12.
You spent time explaing your facility, the “sport” itself, let “Nardo” use up your ammunition in your own fabulous shotgun, and gave us all the best afternoon. We can not thank you enough for it all……
Great facility, and even greater people.

One visit so far but I’ll go again while we’re here! Very good facilities on the Trap/Skeet fields. The workers are city employees and great to deal with. One thing I judge fields on is if the equipment works. It all worked flawlessly!

This has to be the best kept secret in New Mexico. Talk about BIG, I was told the facility covers tens of thousands of acres of land. Rife ranges up to 700 yds. Two western towns for cowboy action shooting. Pistol ranges out the kazoo. I shot trap. From the registration building to the trap range was a 3 MILE drive! Unbelievable!!!
Great personal, all work for the city since it is a city owned and operated facility. Trap machines worked without a single hitch for the four rounds I shot there. If your in this area of New Mexico this is a HAVE TO visit, you won’t regret it.

Club members have been making great strides to improve Skeet shooting, Watched that facility grow from 4 ranges. Very Friendly shooters, if you are by yourself, someone with always ask if you want to shoot. A bit out of town, bring a lunch and make a day of shooting. Club house always has coffee on. Great bunch to shoot with.
