Went to the range for the first time and had a blast. I was a part of a group of veterans that the club sponsored to come try out the range. Thank you Humboldt trap and skeet club for the awesome day. I give this club a five star rating.

We were visiting Eureka and I noticed the Humboldt Club on this site so dropped in on Tuesday. I took my Ljudic that has a knat’s butt full fixed choke for some reason I brought on this trip. It is a far more professional machine than I can deal with. Anyway,I shot the worst I have ever shot in my life. HOWEVER, this is a really friendly club so I wasn’t even embarrassed!
When I pulled in I was met by two Labrador dogs. Going into the trap shack to sign up I felt very welcome. I’m in an RV and staying at the Eureka Elks. When I came back from the club I paid the Elks for another couple days so I can return to the gun club on Sunday, and this time am leaving Mr. Ljudic in my rig and bringing my SKB O/U.
Oh, Velma owns a Springer Spaniel named Molly that my Springer, Bodacious, fell in love with. Almost embarrassing…

I am always at the club cooking and most of the time shooting trap and skeet with my dad, and uncle. The club is great and i hope to reach new heights with shooting.

Club is run and maintained by a dedicated group of volunteers. Each Sunday, two range officers are available to assist visitors and offer instruction to inexperienced shooters. Young shooters accompanied by a responsible adult are encouraged to learn the shooting sports. The club has been in continuous operation for 50+ years.

Hunter Safety classes are available. Call club for info, (707)-839-3788 and leave a message for Instructor George Gatto.

A nice local club, easy to get to. Pleasant staff who are always happy to help, laid back and friendly atmosphere. I think any shooter will find it a pleasant place to shoot. Just a friendly warning, no shooting when aircraft are on the runway!
