Comfort, Quality and challenging to the level you desire. The two sporting clay courses are inspiring and you cannot leave without thinking to your next opportunity there to achieve and redeem your ego with your friends. Roy and Raz go out of their way to encourage you and give advice if you desire. I have been on several Pheasant hunts there and everyone of those where so professionally handled by the Hunting Hills Staff, we are so blessed to live in this region and they showcase it for all who desire the outdoor life and experience.

My best friend and his son started shooting clays and hunting pheasants at hunting hills over ten years ago. The sislers treat us as friends not just clients. The facility has grown and only gotten better over the years. Ras and his family are such class people. Very accomodating and professional in giving us a wonderful day at their facility. The clays courses are challenging and well maintained. They are also well thought out. The only down side to a day at hunting hills is that it goes to fast. Its a wonderful facility with wonderful people.

I was visiting another sporting clays facility in Central PA back in the fall and one of the trappers mentioned Hunting Hills having the top sporting clays course in Pennsylvania. I contacted Ras, with Hunting Hills and set up an appointment to shoot there a couple of days later with some visitors from down South. On the day of the shoot, as we drove up to the field house, there was a pheasant standing in the middle of the driveway as if on cue to get us all going! Our group of five had a ball! The course is set amongst a hardwood forest along a ridge that offers some spectacular views of the surrounding area even if you aren’t shooting! Each of the 17 stands we shot offered the shooter a new and challenging set of clays to shot at. The last stand was a simo pair of rabbits that only stays in view for a split second. If you play your cards right, you may be able to nail both with one round! At the end of the course, Ras, the manager offered our group refreshments and gave us a guided tour of the field house and all of the trophies lining the walls. This guy should have been stand up comedian with all of his humorous stories. I’ve only been back twice since that day as it is a long way from where I live, but I plan on making a trip out there as often as I can!

My very first time i shot at hunting hills was at a corporate function where all the ammo & golf carts were supplied for the event. roast pig, roast 1/2 steer and all the fixins… i shot all three courses that day plus the 5 stand… i was hooked. within a month of that experience i was the proud owner of a field grade browning citori. traveling to all the local sporting clays venues… only to be compared to the best venue of all Hunting Hills. facility, target setup, and most of all the people… i will continue to visit there with good friends and family.

Thirty years ago my brother and I nearly grew up there as my dad took us there nearly weekly to train our dogs, compete and work at field trials and to hunt. My brother and I even worked there during the summer and got the “pleasure” of shoveling after 100+ dogs, but looking back it was a great time spent with the Sislers’ who still own and operate Hunting Hills. There are now less dogs now as they are more focused on Sporting Clays and hunts than breeding and training champion field trial and hunting English Setters and Pointers.
It had been more than 25 years since I had been there after we moved away from Western PA, so for my father’s 70th birthday my brother and I scheduled a hunt last October. It was a great time getting back in the field and then shooting some clays afterwards. Looking at all the old photos of us and old friends on the walls brought back some memories for sure!
That day led us to get back to shooting clays on a regular basis locally, and also to schedule another hunt this past month where my nephew also went and was able to shoot his first pheasant over a dog just as my Brother and I did there many years ago.
Hunting Hills has grown and changed some over the years, but is still as welcoming with Roy, Sally and RAS’s wonderful hospitality and humor as I remembered as a kid. They truly have created a treasure of a place there which we plan to go back to for years to come.

This is one of the finest shooting clubs I have seen. The facility is in excellent shape and the stations were challenging to any level of shooter. I would recommend this as one on the MUST clubs to visit.

I am a skeet shooter and do not get to visit sporting clubs often due to much travel to registered skeet shoots, but I have been to Hunting Hills on numerous occasions. This is a great club. Target presentations are very good to excellent. Hosted very well, I would recommend this club to anyone and everyone.

Best place to shoot I have ever been to. I’ve been shooting sporting clays there for over 5 years and hunting there with my son and good friends for 9yrs. All I can say is premier excellence. Real good food. Just remember to take your highest top rubber boots as the b.s. can get pretty deep after the shoot.

Great place to shoot. I have gone a few times with my school, and everyone was very friendly. After we finished shooting we sat around talking with the people who work there like they were old friends.
