On a recent shooting marathon through the piedmont of North Carolina, I had the opportunity to shoot both Hyatt Farms and Four Branches in the same day. Both are brand new courses, having opened only in the last few months, both featuring new equipment that performed flawlessly. The two courses are located with 30 minutes of each other, making it easy to shoot both Clubs in the same day.
The Club House at Hyatt Farms Sporting Clays is located on top of a very high hill offering a fantastic panoramic view of piedmont North Carolina–a great place to sit in the late afternoon after a fun round of sporting clays. There is presently only one 14 station course, which is located in a very lovely hilly, wooded environment. But there are plans to locate another course in a more open field environment which will probably feature longer targets. The course is so new, that automatic controllers have not yet been installed (but will be shortly). This course has excellent potential for becoming a major destination for the shooter looking for great places to shoot. I thoroughly enjoyed the course as well as the friendly staff and Members who made me feel completely at home. Thanks for a great day.
