I try to make it here at least once a week. The 12-station, 100 target sporting clays course takes advantage of the wooded ravine that runs through the property to create not only a beautiful setting but a wide variety of target presentations, many of which are quite challenging. They tweak the targets on a regular basis as well as make wholesale changes before every competition shoot, so it doesn’t get stale. Some of the stations have a third thrower, to make a 50-target Super Sporting course, or if you want to try something not on the regular menu.

There are also 3 trap fields, one of which is usually set up for doubles. There’s only one skeet field, but this seems to reflect the interest of the club members, who primarily shoot trap and SC – I rarely see anyone on it. If you show up intending to shoot skeet, you’ll most likely have it to yourself.

It’s open six days a week (Closed Monday) which is nice for retired folks or those of us who are lucky enough not to work a regular M-F 9-5. Especially given the quality of the course, prices (both member and non-member) are very modest. I’ve shot SC at other clubs around here where I paid twice the price and wasn’t half as challenged. Prices for ammo and reloading supplies are competitive with, sometimes better than, local retailers. It’s a family run outfit, and they’re really good people.

This was the first of three sporting clay ranges we went to, on the way down to the 2015 NRA show in Nashville. The sporting clay range was beautiful, terrain was hilly with different views at each station. Some shots were over ponds, some in draws and the each one was unique. The owners were very welcoming and ensured us that they check each thrower every day, which was nice to hear. This course is definitely worth a stop if you are in the area! We will definitely be back!

We stopped at Indian Creek Shooting Center on our way to the 2015 NRA Annual Show in Nashville, TN. The Sporting Clay Range provided challenging targets, different views and the throwers performed flawlessly. The owners of Indian Creek were extremely friendly and accommodating. The range is clean and well maintained. I would most definitely recommend stopping at Indian Creek if you are near by or passing through.

Outstanding facilities from clubhouse to trap lines. Excellent sporting clays located in woods and hills area making for like hunting experience but very easy to walk or ride. Owner is very helpful and accommodating to ensure that you have a good shooting experience. Will shoot there again.

I visited Indian Creek, joined it soon after that. Has a family feel, because it is run by a very nice family. Hamburgers are great and cheap, ranges are well-maintained, woodsy sporting clays course adds new meaning to the word “challenging.” (Cannot say whether there are fish in the pond on the premises. Membership includes use of the pond.) Large clubhouse is adequate, not too fancy, owners’ kids might be doing their homework there. Members I have met are nice, and helpful to this novice. Membership is a bargain at $75, includes a free hat!

I was in Louisville, KY with the family visiting the in-laws the week of the new year and needed to get out of the house, so I contacted the Indian Creek Shooting Center and they were extremely nice, helpful and accommodating to my needs. I ended up visiting this gun club twice while I was in the area. I shot their skeet course and their sporting clays range. They offer a lot for the money and the people there are very accommodating. I highly recommend this club!! Look forward to seeing them again at Easter!!!

Indian Creek is a great club. We warmed up with a round on the trap field before heading out onto the Sporting Clays course. There are a number of challenging targets and our trapper informed us that the owner changes the course regularly. All stations had two traps. Some were a mix of manual and automatic, all controlled by the trapper.

They have some rental shotguns. We lucked because Browning was running a “test drive” campaign for their Synergy line, so we were able to shoot nice new gun. The course can be walked and they have some carts to use (which we did).

    Highly recommend this club!

Several new additional automatic traps have been added, and the course is a lot more demanding than before. Still the same great service.

I have only been to this range once but the one time I have gone the faculty was very nice. Every thing was very clean and organized and it was just an all around good time.

I had a great time at Indian Creek and will be taking my dad and a couple friends with me as often as possible next year. The facility is very clean and relaxed, the equipment so far has worked great. They even have a kitchen that serves lunch, makes a great one stop shop for a full day of shooting.

I have shot at this facility many times and the targets are always good. This weekend I was at the club for the state shoot and I was really impressed with the presentation of the targets. There was a lot of challenging shots, but nothing too hard. I could not have asked for any more out of a shoot. Wonderful job Indian Creek!

The club is managed in a freindly and professional manner all the time. Sporting clays has been slow to change target presentations, and considered a little soft, but this is constantly being remedied by the addition of more automatic traps, and with the Indiana State Shoot in 2006, we look for great improvement.

Members are freindly, equipment well maintained and a good supply of shells. In my opinion an excellent value.
