Number of visits: I work there
We have both the East Tawas Facility and the Wurtsmith Facility. Currently the ranges are closed to the Public for the winter (Nov. 15 thru April 1st). The Tawas Range no longer has Trap Shooting. Trap & Skeet are being built at the Wurtsmith Range. Plan to open this Spring. Wurtsmith’s regular Public hours are Friday thru Sunday (9am – 5PM. Go to our website and click on the calender for 2011 scheduled events.

Have visited the range, but it is never open, looks like a nice range. Have taken several trips to tawas point state park have driven to the range on the days posted on the sign at the entrance but it is never open no one to be found in the club or grounds.

Great club. They have Trap and a Great great Benchrest course up at the Wurtsmith Airforce base. They also have a self defense pistol range and indoor pistol leagues.
