I visited Kidd’s Place for the first time today and was very pleased with my experience. The Clubhouse is nice and staffed with friendly folks. I shot the 5 stand to “warm up” and then shot the 14 station course that wondered through the woods pleasantly. The course was well designed and maintained. The targets were varied and challenging which made for a delightful morning with a shotgun.

Had a great time! I called up and the owner Tom Kidd answered, and said come on down and shoot.I did. He drive me around and pulled. The targets are strong, fair, and challenging. I had so much fun I came back two days later and shoot another 100. To my mind of the four clays courses near raleigh, this is the one that will test your skills and improve your game. Kidd knows how to set targets.

A great place to shoot that give you both realistic and challanging clay presintations. I liked it so much I joined. Its a 70 mile trip one way but worth the ride to practice on a range the Tom Kidds sets up. Becoming a better shooter each time put. Very friendly staff.

We didn’t go to Kidd’s place to shoot- which makes us the odd ducks out here- though we fully intend to return and do just that.

We had our wedding reception at Kidd’s Place. It was PERFECT. Tom and Diane and everyone there were so incredibly helpful and understanding. The pavilion that Tom has there for receptions and events is absolutely beautiful, and the grounds are wonderful as well.

We got Tom to cater our reception since what we wanted was good NC bbq. And that’s what we had. It was FANTASTIC. In fact, it was soooo good that my vegan parents had seconds. That’s right. My parents who don’t eat meat knowingly had more than one serving of chopped pork bbq.

Diane was so incredibly helpful with organizing everything, and so easy to get in contact with and talk to. She would mention things that I hadn’t thought of and help out!

If you are looking for a venue to hold a reception, a family reunion, any large gathering at all- you should really come check out Kidd’s Place. Our reception was absolutely perfect, and Kidd’s Place is a lot of the reason why.

First time to Kidd’s Place, and had a great experience. Very nice layout at each station, with some really challenging shots. My 10 year old daughter tried the five stand with one of their 28 gauge youth guns, and decided the recoil was too much. (maybe when she is a bit older). I will certainly go back.

I have taken my son to Kidd’s place multiple times for lessons and just shooting and have been very pleased with the layout, service and overall experience Tom and the team create. I have recommended him to several folks without hesitation. We look forward to continuing to visit and enjoy his facility.

I took my little sister to shoot sporting clays for the first time at Kidds’s place and I must say that we had an absolute blast! The course is well laid out and offers a variety of different and challenging shots. My sister had not shot a shotgun before and was a little nervous, upon hearing this Mr. Kidd was kind enough to offer her some helpful tips and even accompanied us for the first four stations. As far as I am concerned this is an example of the best of shooting sports. We will defiantly be back to shoot more.

Excellent time shooting at Kidds. Tom gave me and my son shooting tips! First class facility with top notch sporting clays. Make it a day at Kidds. It is worth it.

Shot here for the first time, this is a challenging course as you shoot different terrain (uphill, downhill) and clays can come from anywhere. I had great fun and will return. The staff was friendly, helpful and even feed us lunch. I shot 50 targets of sporting clays and 25 on 5- stand
