Very clean remodeled club, several trap ranges in nice country setting easily accessible to Indy. Taken over by dedicated, new owners with prior relationship to previous owner who passed. Heritage with and commitment to the trap community is very high. Our experience is a well cared for, modern facility with small town feel. Owners very helpful, accommodating and friendly. Go visit, no disappointment here.

Great club. Friendly people. Grew up in the area but did not shoot then. Went back a couple of years ago and now that I’m a trap shooter had a great time.

Lowell and Suzy Thomas have purchased the club and we plan on being open again for our first practice 3/29/14 @ 12:00. We are currently in the process of remodeling the clubhouse. We hope to make it an enjoyable experience for all the regular shooters from years past and all the new shooters we hope to attract. We will continue to hold registered shoots and Big 50’s. We also plan on keeping our youth programs going as before. And the name will remain Kingen Gun Club.

This has been my home range since I started shooting the wonderful sport of Trap almost 12 years ago. Unfortunately, the owner recently passed away leaving the club with no one named to carry on the legacy of Kingen’s. The club has since been closed with no foreseeable time that it will be open again. I will miss this place and all the people that gathered there every Saturday.

What a wonderful hard to find range. It is on the north side of the Mt. Comfort Airport. I have gone a few times as a real beginner. The owner twice let me be the only shooter and she called all my shots. Let me know if I was High, Low, in front, or behind. It was of great help to me. I think I never got over 15 hits. I took my wife and they found a gun for my wife to use. I have never heard of that before. They have a very limited kitchen and have pop and hamburgers.
