An enjoyable skeet field that provides new shooters with a fantastic opportunity to shoot registered targets without the usual pressure of huge registered shoots. David is one of the better shooters in North Carolina and yet he is always willing to assist new shooters, provide guidance, and “pointers” without the usual charges that other clubs insist upon. David Maness is known across the state as a “southern gentleman” who is a huge positive influence for the NSSA. His target prices are below other clubs. Quite unlike other skeet ranges, his targets are thrown through the “hoop”, at the correct speed, and seldom broken. It has been a real joy to shoot in his registered NSSA Saturday shoots as well as many practice sessions with David at the Kissing Oaks Skeet Field. A special thanks for all David’s help this past year in making me a much improved shooter.

A quaint skeet field whose owner makes a good effort to allow NSSA shooters a chance to participate in small shoots throughout the year. David Maness runs nice, casual, and affordable skeet shoots. He does well promoting skeet shooting for NSSA.
