The sporting clays registered shoot was absolutely the best ever. You guys knocked it out of the park with your challenging presentations. Hats off to all who helped make this event occur.

It was my first time to this club, and won’t be the last. My friends and I enjoyed a very challenging and scenic course. This place lived up to our expectations. A shooter has to truly earn their score here. There were no easy stations, and awesome views of the Michigan north. One of the most unique courses a person can shoot. We were treated well.

This club also welcomes non-members for the shotgun sports. It also has 1-skeet and 1-Trap field. Both have concrete walkways. The traps are hi-capacity machines. The Trap field is voice operated. The member & guest pistol & rifle ranges have covered shooting benches. The targets extend out to 200yds. The spacious half log clubhouse has a comlete kitchen.

Visited the club last summer. Shot the sporting clays course which was spectacular. I’m a trap guy myself so my score wasn’t much but the course and layout was not to be missed.

Located on a former ski hill. The sporting clay’s course has 14 stations with 28 automatic traps , one 20′ & one 30′ high target throwing tower, each is located on the hillside above the shooters. Four of the shooting stations are elevated platforms over looking valleys. Eleven stations offer opportunities for throwing targets up and down hillsides & across valleys. Limited gun cart rental on site.

Every Michigan clays shooter needs to visit this club. The views are incredible and because of the terrain there are some target presentations that are very unique and fun. Get a group of friends together and make the trip…and bring a camera.

I was able to shoot the Lewiston Sporting Clays course on 8/23/2008 with my wife. It has to be one of the most scenic courses to shoot. You shoot off ski slope type hills both up and down over mature hardwood trees and pines. The traps are set up to challenge the shooter, and be a memorable experience. The staff were very friendly and welcomed me as a guest. You must shoot it to view the beautiful scenery. Thank You Lewiston Sportsmen League.
