We have a very nice club and visitors are always welcome. We do not have Sporting Clays (plan on opening course in a few years). Call me 501-609-2561 and I’ll be glad to answer any questions. As a visitor correctly observed opening and closing hours are flexible as we are all volunteers (no paid employees) and sometime we leave when we finish shooting if no one is waiting to shoot.

I was a guest at this club while visiting kinfolk in a neighboring town. As expected, games were a little higher $$ wise for me than members. This club has 2 nice simple natural combination fields with very friendly people who like to chat. Plenty of shade, perfect targets, and a wonderful peaceful environment make this club a good choice to explore. And explore you must. It’s way out in the boondocks. If I could make one suggestion it would be to be open longer on Saturday and ask the assigned rangemaster to prepare and shut down the ranges before and after advertised times. If you’re only going to be open for only 3 hours, it should be 3 hours of solid shooting, not 30 minutes to turn machines on, talk to everyone about bbq and fishing, and then take 45 minutes to close the houses, load them, roll up the cord, and police hulls. 100 round miles is a long way to drive to get 1 hour of shooting in, for some visitors. Other than that, call them and ask to be signed in and yall have a great shooting day at a great facility!

My son and I were visiting Little Rock this last summer and had some extra time to trap shoot. Local membership were great hosts. This facility is a diamond in the rough. Will try again the Thanksgiving weekend.

Mountain Valley Sportsman’s Assoc operates a club on over 80 acres of property served by a newly paved road to the club.
The club has a 100-300 yd Rifle Range that has a covered facility to shoot in. It also has a large Cowboy Action “cowtown” that has tournament shooting on the first Sat. of each month.
There are 7 IDPA Pistol berms and two Skeet and two Trap fields available as well. Property has been purchased for sporting clays but the course is not in operation yet. The club is less than 20 minutes from downtown Hot Springs National Park.
