This club is open to the public on Sunday mornings, so I stopped by and joined in. Visitors pay 6.00 a game. The raccoon club is a well established club dating back to 1933. It has a small, clean, well kept one field range. The range hut is more or less just a place to escape the cold and sign in. Heads up, no outhouses available here. The spacious split log main lodge about 100 yds away is reserved primarily for club meetings. The trap threw perfect targets from a beomat machine. Down range is strewn with tons of broken birds on a slight incline and it takes a good eye to see the bird come out of the trap house as it blends in during its flight. Down to earth good people shoot here. Safe and professional all the way. They make you feel like you’re at home. I look forward to another visit.

I shoot trap at this facility every weekend and find the field to be both a constant challenge and enjoyable experience. All members and visitors are extremely friendly and are more than willing to help anyone who may be less experienced and/or interested in learning more.
