I was the guest of Steve Stutler, while visiting to purchase the clubs old skeet machines. I had a great time. Its a clean and well kept club. Its primarily a large trap club with only one skeet range at the top of the hill. The trap fields are situated on a sloping hill working their way down in stairstep fashion along the road. The main lodge is beautiful, very comfortable, and has plenty of shade. The club was renamed Northumberland Point but was formally known as the Laury Skeet and Trap Club. This range also has a very busy rifle and pistol range. The pistol range is further up the hill and is isolated from shotgun sports, but the rifle range is located in between the skeet and trap fields without barriers. Because of this, if you want to shoot skeet while members shoot rifles, a cease fire bell is rung signaling rifle shooters desire to go down range. When it rings, all skeet must stop until they return. All in all, this is a very nice and friendly place to visit, if you know someone who will sign you in. If I pass through in the future, I will be sure to return.
