These directions are accurate. I’ve been a visitor to this club a number of times over the past decade, most when the Club opened the premises to the local Boy Scout Council. On one occasion club members cooked a wonderful pancake breakfast for the Scouts and provided a detailed nature walk and tour, exposing the local flora, fauna and special geographic features of the area. The main lodge is spacious with a full kitchen and clean restrooms, an adjoining pavilion and spacious parking. There are rifle, pistol and archery ranges. The two trap courses are a brisk walk from the main lodge, but have their own small shooters lodge with restrooms, parking and a pavilion. The facility is spread out along the south bank of Oatka Creek, a renowned trout stream well stocked during the season. At one time, the club had its own hatchery, the remains of which can still be detected, if one knows what to look for. I understand the club owns, or has access to, several hundred acres of property. I’ve not had the privilege of shooting trap here, but knowing a number of the members, and based on their past hospitality to the Scouts, I would expect a warm family atmosphere well with checking out.
