Great facility. Tom was very nice and opened up the 5 stand range even though they had already shut it down for the day. Beautiful surroundings and tough targets. Will definitely come back while I’m in this part of NY!

The facilities are clean, and well maintained. They have an archery range, indoor pistol, outdoor rifle, skeet, 5 stand, trap, and field trap. Everyone is very friendly, especially to non-members. There’s no waiting list, you can just join up the second you show up, if you like it that much. For me it’s an hour drive, but I can tell you it’s well worth it. Oneonta Sportmen’s club is definitely a diamond in the rough.

Oneonta Sportsmans club member. The rifle range,5 stand, skeet and trap fields are well maintained. The staff and members are outgoing and helpful. I showed up for the first time 4 years ago to zero in a rifle. My Wife and I shot skeet there for first time and the staff and membership were extremely helpful in getting me started. I look forward to shooting there at least twice a month.

I joined the club this year and have been there three times. Each time I’ve brought guests with me and the members and club staff have been wonderful. The layout of the fields are excellent. The 5 stand is very challenging to say the least! Both the trap and skeet fields are well maintained and the Sporting Clays are challenging with a mix of rabbit and birds. I recommend this club highly.

Oneonta sportsmen’s club, is set up on som great terrain. They are a small old school gun club. the ranges are new and old. 5 stand is set up on a skeet and trap range. It is a close range and fast paced shoot. I thought it was one of the better 5 stands I have shot. They have 7 machines, with 2 wobble. There looking to add a rabbit next. Sporting Clays course was just changed recently. It has a lot of potential, but needs alot of fine tuning. Trappers are junior members of the club. It was nice to see this, but they need to work on showing the trappers how to explain about the course. Overall Oneonta was a small but quaint shooting facility.
