The club’s listing that they offer trap and skeet is misleading. Both are not only limited to specific days, if you do not show up with a shooting partner to operate manual traps (which makes no sense for either trap or skeet) you will be turned away. That was my experience after a two hour drive to get there. They made no effort to accommodate a single shooter and simply said “Sorry, we can’t help you.”

I made a visit with my father during a vacation to the Outer Banks. My father and I were treated as if we were locals. I will definitely go out of my way to shoot a couple of rounds every time I vacation in the area.

Went down last Summer to spend the week with friends in the Outer Banks. I saw this club on this site so a friend and I decided to head over one day with our guns and ammo. Fairly easy to get to. When we pulled up, the group shooting welcomed us with open arms. My friend was a beginner and the locals were more than gracious to help with tips. The price for each round was not bad at all either. My only critique is that they only had one skeet field but it was not crowded. I definitely recommend this place and to anyone heading down to the outer banks for the week remember to pack your shotgun and ammo because you’ll have a fun time shooting here.

Of all the years we have been going to OBX, last year was the first time we brought firearms to shoot. It was wonderful. Nice people. Almost empty when we went. Much better and not snooty like some of the ranges in northern Virginia. We are headed down for our annual trip this evening and we are bringing an arsenal this year. We plan on making almost an entire day of it. And will continue to do so each and every year.

This year-round, outdoor facility is a shooter’s dream.
Now you can bring your guns on vacation and take target practice while the rest of the family shops.
On your first visit, make sure to join the club (and plan to keep your membership current) so upkeep, staffing and maintenance can continue in your absence. All rates are extremely reasonable. You’ll enjoy the periodical newsletter that membership brings too
This range is truly one of the hidden diamonds of the Outer Banks. Handgun, rifle and shotgun practice are supported. The complex includes a skeet range and a beginners area.
Gun Safety courses are offered as well as first time shooter’s courses.

You only know the value of something if you can compare it to something else. With that said, this range is the best!

Very good shooting experience. Shot with two first timers. Safety and proper shooting technique stressed. Fired approx. 300 rounds in about two hours of shooting, from a variety of locations, using two wireless traps. Cost?……..Very reasonable. Highly recommended. Fun was had by all.

This range has something for every one that likes to shoot. I have seen young people get involved with the older members and learn how to make that skeet shot count and have a great day shooting. Every one is always willing to lend a hand or an ear and safety is observed by all. I have been a member for 2 yrs and enjoy my day every time. Bug spray? Yes, keep a can with you. We have a safety range officer at all times and these rules are observed and practiced.

You will not beat this facility for the money!
