2018 is a great year at Palos sportman’s club. We had a great time so far shooting and talking with people at the club. We just had our Christmas party and the people and food were great. Come and visit a great club and meet great people.

I recently shot at their new Sporting Clay course and I have to say they did a great job! Very nice course, MEC throwers, and nice presentation of clay’s. All I can say is job well done, if your looking for a nice course to shoot, place Palos on your list! ~I’m not a member of the club and the public is invited to shoot the Sporting Clay course.

Was the guest of a member on Sunday, Aug.14,2011. What a great place to shoot. Trap, skeet, games and 5-stand all at one club. The people I met were friendly and helpful. The grounds and fields are beautiful and well kept. I see why the members are proud of Palos.

The Palos Sportsman’s Club is a great facility to go spend a couple of hours or the whole day honing your shooting skills and visiting with other members that have similar beliefs and values. The club has always been clean and well managed, in all of my visits. I enjoy bringing clients, friends, and family out to shoot a few rounds.

I have belonged to many clay shooting clubs in my life and Palos Sportsman’s club is by far the best. Safety always comes first while good sportsmanship and camaraderie follow a close second. Tim Buehler does an outstanding job of managing the day to day operations while a board of directors made up of top quality sportspersons like Ray Carl and Bob Osterberg insure that every member and their guests are treated to a friendly and welcome atmosphere, permanent regulation trap and skeet fields, and an always challenging 5-Stand sporting clays course. Joe and Eileen Nape make the several “special events” very enjoyable and memorable. Joe even invites Santa Claus to our Christmas party every year, and he comes. Sonny Scalone makes it his personal business to be sure all of equipment is functioning perfectly all the time. The combination of the management, members, and a family friendly environment makes this club stand heads and tails above the rest.

I started going to Palos as a guest for quite a while. Then became a member. Palos is a great place to shoot. It is like a second family. The people there are great. I think this is a club that really promotes the sport . We need more clubs like Palos to keep this sport growing. It is a great place to spend a day shooting your favorite event. Trap, Skeet, 5 stand and my personal addiction Game Shooting.
