The trap range is located within the grounds of Black Moshannon State park, on the East side of the lake, and accessed by a clearly marked service road. As I recall, there are at least 5 trap houses, but the most I’ve seen running at once were three. The clubhouse is well appointed and comfortable with excellent bathroom facilities. The traps are modern vox operated units, well maintained, and properly scored. It appears to be an all-volunteer staff, which is friendly, courteous and helpful. The cost is $6 for two rounds, and you shoot with the same squad, both rounds. The setting is simply gorgeous, amid the tall pine trees at the state park, and well protected from gusting winds encountered in more open settings. They shoot on Wednesday evenings, year round, and under excellent lighting, when necessary. I give a hearty recommendation to this excellent facility and assure all who visit, they will be welcome.

PS: we shoot at Littlestown on Monday nights, and all are welcome.
