Sharon & Gary host a welcoming facility. The targets are always interesting and challenging with some unique twists utilizing the terrain. There are 12 stations on a very walkable course in a scenic setting.
Picacho is a absolute ” must shoot” for me on every trip to Phoenix.
Thank you for a great time, every time.

I shoot registered sporting clays at Picacho. Great place to enjoy the outdoors, Sharon and Gary are perfect hosts, targets are outstanding, challenging and fun. Highly recommended.

Just killing time while my wife hit the big gem and jewelry show. Great range to shoot at. Sharon and Gary are extremely welcoming. Hooked me up with one of the local squads and they too made me feel like one of the regulars (including comments that I could go rejoin my wife at them gem show when I ran a station). Couldn’t ask for a nicer group of guys to shoot with. Almost feels like shooting at a private club. Gary sets some nice targets and they are NOT soft. You’ll have a great time if you come here.

Great place. We came here while on vacation and only planned to shoot once but came back a second day. Great western scenery for those of us not from the area. Sharon and Gary were friendly and welcoming and Gary helped us with some of the targets we were having trouble with. Very nice place to shoot!

Picacho ROCKS. You cannot ask for better host then Sharon and Gary. Took 4 people with me Sunday for the fun shoot. They all had a great time. One person was a trap shooter and I believe he will retire from trap or crap shooting and shoot sporting clay. Thank you Sharon and Gary again for great times.

I rarely write reviews about anything but because we received exceptional hospitality I am writing this one. Myself and four of my friends showed up on a Friday morning without a reservation. Gary and Sharon treated us like celebrities. Sharon made us lunch and served us a cold beer when we were finished. I had never met either of them before and had only shot there once before when they were away. We will certainly return again.

Nice little course great owners and shooters. Get directions do not follow your gps or you will end up on a dirt road in the middle of nowhere.

Spent the afternoon with two friends at Picacho Sporting Clays and could not have had a more pleasant experience. Gary and Sharon are the consummate hosts and really went “the extra mile” to make us feel welcome. If you visit southern Arizona and you like to shoot clay targets, you definitely want to plan to spend a day or two here.

As others have said, off the beaten track but a great range. Not the biggest or most challenging courses, but probably one one the most fun. Great use of the terrain, very friendly staff, and cheap! I will definitely be returning the next time I come to Phoenix, and next time I’ll be sure to leave enough time to shoot what looked like a very fun 5-stand course.

Great place to shoot!! Had a great time, staff more than accommodating to all shooters. Wish I had more time to enjoy the 5 Stand and bird walk. I recommend this club to any sporting clay enthusiast.

A little off the beaten track but worth the drive. Very interesting layout in a large dry riverbed. Compact, easy to walk, elevation changes provides for some very interesting targets. Staff was very accommodating. Thoroughly enjoyed our shoot and will definitely do it again when we return to this area.

The first time I shot here it was at a private tourney, and it was well done, and plenty of fun. I brought my daughter back when we were previewing the U of A as a college… We had a great time, the course was not busy and we could take our time and have her work on stations to help her shooting. They have a well thought out range with lots of nice touches, it is easy to see that the proprietor has a lot of pride in what she does. The staff have always been friendly. I highly recommend this range to anyone who wants an easy atmosphere. I especially recommend it if you have new shooters as you can take time time to teach.
