I have visited this facility 2 times this year and really had a great time. The course is set in Pocono forest terrain and not only is enjoyable but gives you a chance to be enjoy this unique type of scenery. The staff is helpful and friendly. We took the “golf” cart to get around. You could probably also walk the coarse.

My son-in-law and I visited this facility in 2007 and were delighted with the course and the challenges that it presented. On that particular day we had only enough time to shoot the course but decided to return a couple of days later and shoot their 5 stand course. We enjoyed the 5 stand course as well and would have recommended both courses to anyone visiting the area. Recently I was vacationing in the area with another son-in-law and decided that we would shoot their courses once again since I liked it so much the last time. I was amazed at how poorly the sporting clays course was maintained and the 5 stand course was non-existent. On the sporting clays course, many of the machines were broken and none were under cover to protect them from the weather that occurs in the mountains. The electronics were missing and one had to use individual switches to operate the machines. I can tolerate this but it leaves the club manager to rely on a person’s honesty to report how many birds were used throughout the course. Otherwise they would not have a clue to what the visitors shot. To say the least I was very disappointed and at this time would advise people to stay away. This could be an excellent course if time and money was spent to maintain and improve what they have. We visited two other courses that week and were very satisfied with their facilities.

The place has had bearable issues for many years but now it is at the point that it is not worth going to the facility.

Since the Hotel has taken over the Clays facility, the targets don’t work or have no clays in them, the course was changed because of the EPA and it is horribly laid out and the road to get out to the course is full of ruts and holes and with the poor gun holders on the carts you WILL damage your stock.

From a scenery perspective this place has so much potential. Problem is everyone that has run it is inexperienced or does not care about it.

I don’t mean to sound rude so please do not take it that way. I shot there in September and thought it was a dump. The road getting to the sporting clay field seemed to be about a mile long and was so rocky and full of ruts and gully’s that I ruined the stock on my gun. When we got to the sight they were all dirty shells all over the place you had to kick them a side to get to the station a lot of the traps didn’t work to the point they had to send a person with you not only to pull the traps but to repair them with his own toll box. You had to climb up over hills to get to some targets.when I got back, they over charged me according to my conversation prior to going there, they charged me for the cart. I thing if they treated their sporting clay course like they treat their golf coarse they would have a really great place. Now with that said the people you deal with are great polite and helpful, the targets are good and somewhat challenging, the scenery is beautiful.

Nice place. Hit and miss on the traps. Had problems with a bunch of traps. Would be great place if staff kept up with traps.

This is A Great course. Interesting presentations, challenging, and Unbelievably scenic. They really use the terrain well in making their stations unique [especially the last station, it has a steep incline, any presentation is challenging]. Great service, nice new carts [Don’t even think about walking]and a great course make for an experience you shouldn’t miss. I’ll be back as often as possible.
