PGC is simply the best trap range around.

The grounds are kept clean, the overall atmosphere is VERY friendly and they manage to keep the fees reasonable. If you’re new to trap shooting, or experienced, you’ll feel at home especially with such a nice helpful staff.

I started trap shooting just two months ago and I’m now addicted to it. Many shooters there will gladly answer all your questions about the sport. If you’re looking for a new hobbie, trap shooting just might be it! It’s a BLAST and it won’t take you a lifetime to get pretty darn good at it either!!!

Do come out and see our club!!!

This is a great facility. Close in to town makes it easy to just take a few hours out of your day and go have some fun. The five stand Thursday’s are a great time. Brian, Jerry and crew, make everyone feel welcome. The course changes weekly and is always challenging.

I visited the club once and had a great experience. Several members were very nice and showed me around and shot a couple rounds of trap to introduce me to the sport. I am a beginner and am looking for clubs to join and found this one to be a good start. I am seriously considering joining.

I’ve only been here a handful of times. First with a friend, and then by myself or with my wife after that. Always a great palce to shoot. Friendly staff, friendly shooters. The old timers that show up don’t look down on you or anything like that as some other places I’ve seen. It’s actually safe to put your gun on the rack and walk inside to get a drink from the vending machine. Imagine that, safety from theft? Amazing. Love this place. I only regret I can’t go more often.

I’ve shot at the Portland Gun Club for over 25 years. They always treat me right. Mike Riggs is a gentleman. It’s a great place to practice.

Wonderful club to shoot at! Very good environment, helpful staff and friendly fellow shooters. The best thing I like is they do not tolerate drinking by the shooters.

My youngest son (15) and I started going there six months ago. Great staff. Friendly members willing to give advise to new comers to help them into the sport. Been going there since.
