This club is now located in the Southern Utah Shooting Sports Park. Don’t follow your GPS to Hurricane. The listed dates and hours of operation are correct. Annual membership is only $45 and they pro-rate for a partial year at $37 when we visited. Members cost is $5, per round and nonmember is $8, so if you’re going to shoot a few rounds a couple times while visiting it is worth joining. Shooters and staff were friendly, and the range is voice operated, so you can shoot without staff assistance. They are throwing the black rimmed clays that disappear into the challenging background. We will shoot here anytime we are in the area. Trap field 3 is right next to the active skeet field and clay bits feel onto our field as well as whole clays they missed nearly hitting our trap house. Next visit we will shoot on trap field 4.

Best shooting facility I have ever been too. The people are very friendly and accommodating. I shoot there every chance I get!

Love Love Love the sporting clays! I’m not a big ‘gun guy’ but really enjoy meeting my family that lives locally around St. George to shoot sporting clays.

We came and gave this place a try a little while ago, and it was great! It was so much fun to walk around the courses and have pidgeons fly from all different directions. I will definately be back. I wish there was a place like this in Logan!

I recently stopped by Purgatory Clays for the first time. Even though we was arriving just prior to closing time, we was met with a very friendly welcome, a short tour as well as as invitation to shoot, even though closing time was near.

The course was a great blend of easy, medium and tough targets, just as it should be. I will be joining soon, and the drive from up North will be well worth it.

We just keep growing, having replaced our old trap machines with (4) brand new Pat Trap’s (they wobble too) and we are well into our second ATA season. Lights have been installed on fields #1 & #2 and we have league shooting on Wednesday nights. A second Sporting Clays trail has been cut on the South side of the parking lot approximately a 1/4 mile long loop In April we will host the 2010 Utah Sporting Clay championships and in October we will host the Huntsman World Senior Games for the second time. Thanks to all the shooters for your support.

In late September I decided to check out the facility in preparation for pheasant hunting in Kansas. I expected a basic trap shooting experience, which I did, but was shown around the facility by one of the volunteers. The people I met were kind and helpful. In December, I went again with two of my son-in-laws and daughter. I joined at that time, and we had a great time shooting, with help from some of the volunteers. This was a great experience and I plan on visiting often.

This was my first visit to this facility, and I was really impressed with all the variety that it had to offer. I went with our Venture Crew, and all that participated could not stop raving about the experience. We found all the staff to be very friendly and supportive, a real plus for a bunch of first timers. We plan on revisiting the facility for a turkey shoot in mid November, and look forward to trying out the archery, rifle, and shootout ranges. The facility is well groomed and marked, and did I mention state of the art. Thanks to all those who helped make a really fun Saturday for me and my friends.

Here we grow again, we have added 2 more trap fields for a total of 4 and a 2200 sq.ft. A/C club house/lecture hall. The parking area has been expanded to accommodate RV’s (no hook ups)and the clays course has been upgraded with several new shooting stations. We just hosted the Utah State Sporting Clay Championships and expect to host our first ATA shoot in late November 2008.

Our shotgun venue now managed by Purgatory Clay Sports, is up and running with 2 Trap Fields (Wobble, Doubles, Singles and Handicap), Skeet, 5 Stand and Sporting Clays. Our clays course offer some very challenging presentations from high overhead (200 foot high incomers) to rabbit shots across the gullies. Our two combination skeet/trap fields offer a back drop of red cliff’s and high mountains.

Our club is growing by leaps and bounds. You will be treated to unique sporting clays course with spectacular terrain and target presentation. A challenging 5-stand for fun and warmup. We change the targets regularly so it is always fresh and interesting to shoot. All this for very reasonable prices. We are proud to announce that we now have our Trap and Skeet fields open for your enjoyment as well. Be sure to drop by so our friendly staff and regular shooters show you this fun facility.

We are a new club with a spectacular 10 station sporting clay range. The southern Uath landscape allow us not only endless target presentation but also breathtaking views. Our elevated 5 stand is a great warm up. We have skeet and trap fields under construction so be sure to call first to make sure they are done.
