Very nice club. We shot here while returning to Michigan from Southern FL.
Course is set for any shooters level of skill. Great facility!

I shot this facility a year ago and was highly impressed. I told many friends about the club and suggested that anyone travelling through the Dothan area should stop and enjoy this wonderful experience. Last week I had another opportunity to shoot at Ravenwood. I was anxious to see if the second impression was as good as the first. It was even better. Ravenwood now has 3 traps at each of the 14 stations offering the opportunity to mix some very interesting and challenging targets. By selecting what you shoot and in which sequence you execute your shots, the course is appropriate for all shooters from rank beginners to experienced individuals.
What really sets Ravenwood apart from any of the other 50+ Clubs that I have shot, is the beautiful wooded hill and dell environment. It is like shooting in a garden, with terrain that affords the target setter the opportunity to offer some unique fun presentations. We enjoyed the morning shoot so much that we decided to have lunch and shoot the course again in the afternoon.
Unlike some other Clubs, this one recognizes that Show Birds are necessary when a visitor does not know the course. They are part of the package.
A nice clubhouse with a well stocked Pro Shop, a pyramid 5-Stand, 14-3 trap stations, excellent targets, a beautiful environment, and a friendly staff. What more could a shooter ask for. This is one of my favorite clubs.

On a recent trip from SW Florida to Mississippi I opted to make a 2 hr detour off of I-10 to Ravenwood Sporting Clays, a relatively new course in SW Alabama. What a delightful experience. I would highly recommend Ravenwood to anyone looking for a great shooting experience. A full 14 station course with programmable controllers in a beautiful forest setting complete with bridges over a meandering stream. A well-equipped pro shop; a really nice club house, complete with an indoor fire pit. The Club also has a 3 level,5 position wobble setup for warm ups.
The staff was very attentive and courteous, making me want to delay my trip and stay longer. The Manger, Chris Corley, took the time to escort me around the layout and explain their plans for the future. Chris insisted that I take advantage of the free “show birds” so that I would know what I would be shooting at. I have shot at about 40 clubs. This is one of the best. I look forward to a return visit.

Last Thursday morning, my wife Jo and I visited Ravenwood for the first time, and we were very impressed. Chris greeted us, and told us about the course, then brought our rental golf cart to the clubhouse. The clays course has 14 stations, most in a wooded setting, and a few stations on a large field. The shot presentations through the 14 stations were really fun as well as the five stand/warm-up course just behind clubhouse . The traps never failed, and the facility is really neat and clean. Looking forward to our next trip there!

Ravenwood is a great place to shoot. The course is outstanding, the entire cart path is level and smooth so your guns don’t bang around in the racks. The shooting stations are well built and covered, the machines throw good targets and the target presentations are fantastic. The people are super nice as is the clubhouse. Well worth a visit or several.

Visited the club on a Saturday with a first time Sporting Clays shooter a 15 yo female. Great course, excellent facility the staff was very cordial and accommodating. All of the traps performed well and the carts were new and in good shape. Its a very well done course that runs from the club house (which is extremely nice and has a great pro shop) through a hardwood bottom with a flowing creek and back up to the club house near the five stand which you can view on the web site. The targets were challenging but not over whelming. I would highly recommend it for a veteran or a beginning shooter. Lots of fun and friendly people.

Incredible facility, VERY nice facility and targets. Would recommend this club to anyone. Have entertained may customers from the Atlanta area and all rave over it.

Visited this course today, what a beautiful place. The course has some really good terrain, allowing them to throw targets under your feet and off of hills above your head (unusual for south Alabama). The staff was extremely nice and the club house had a great selection of gear and shells at reasonable prices. If you are in this area you need to check this place out, it is worth a visit.
