Thought I’d write a quick review for my time at Redlands Shooting Park. I’ve spent the last two Fridays in a row there shooting Sporting Clays, and have thoroughly enjoyed my time. Fortunately, for me, it’s not been busy either time I went. Of course, one time was Friday around 2:00 PM and it was 95 degrees out. The other was this past Friday morning at 9:00 AM, and not only was it about 85 degrees already, but it was ridiculously humid. Heat aside, the facilities were exactly what I was looking for.

While I usually find myself at Triple B for my clay needs, as I spend many a weekend in the IE, I figured I’d give RSP a chance. The staff was extremely helpful my first time around, explained their Trap, Skeet, and Sporting Clays systems to me, and loaded my target card up. Unlike Triple B, they ask that you return their card at the end of each session. No problem. The very polite woman behind the counter even loaded up my card with about 15 extra shots. She said it was so I could see some of the target presentations. Of course, my second time out, she did the same! Very cool.

While I find Triple B to be extremely scenic and relaxing, I actually found RSP the same. It reminded me of being out in the fields hunting pheasant. They’re doing some remodeling and growing, so their course is “under development. They have 10 stations for Sporting Clays, and are hoping to expand to much more (double even). Right now, because of their remodeling, Station 1 has been moved to a different location. No biggie. For you trap/skeet lovers, they’re adding more of your fields as well.

At each station, they’ve thankfully put up diagrams of each shot. While having extra clays for presentation purposes, these diagrams were very helpful. You get the traditional crossers coming in and going away, an overhead shot, teals, rabbits, and the rest. Everything you could want – it’s there. There are a couple shots that stymied me during my time even – so kudos to the course developer. For my money, stations 8, 9, 10 and the new station 1 are MONEY! Great setup, difficult but very fun shots, and worth shooting over and over.

After two rounds and 200 shots at RSP, I’ll continue to go back, and will look forward to their expansion. For what it’s worth, it’s very easy to get to, and parking is a breeze.

This is a well-run club with nice facilities for trapshooting. The skeet facilities look good, but since I don’t shoot skeet, I can’t comment further. The staff is helpful and pleasant, and the trapshooters I have met here have been very gracious. I expect to return here regularly when I’m in the area.

Very friendly place to shoot at. We were offered a lot of help during the day at the range, thanks from the family

Great club, kept very clean and maintained.Nice relaxing clubhouse with great environment. The regular crowd is relatively serious Trap shooters(good shooters) and can be somewhat intimidating for newcomers but the staff and guests are very friendly.I started 4 months ago and found it to be a great place to bring the family and shoot.
My family of 4 shoot at the club 2 days a week and have had a wonderful time each visit. The cost per round is a little more expensive than other clubs in the area but I find it worth the price.
