I recently had the opportunity to make a first time visit to Santa Rosa Shooting Center. The Sporting Clays facility essentially consists of a 20 station layout, with the first 12 stations set up for beginner to intermediate shooter, and the last 8 stations for tournament shooters. The first 12 stations shot as report pairs were soft to medium targets, but shot as true pairs were much more challenging and would be adequate for more experienced shooters. The “Red” course, which currently has 8 stations positioned in a circle around a gigantic tower were truly tournament grade targets. All presentations were excellent.
The staff was helpful and friendly. The equipment was in excellent condition. All stations had programmable controllers. I will definitely be back for a return visit.

Beautiful 14 station, card counting clay range. The staff and owners have always been very helpful, nice and accomodating. Haven’t used the other facilities yet. Some stations are difficult for beginners but I have enjoyed each trip. Looking forward to some tournaments!

Awesome 5-stand. It’s covered, clean and everything is absolutely modern and works without fail. Staff is excellent and stresses safety with fun. I’ve shot my share of 5-stands; this one is worth visiting.

I was vacationing in Pensacola Beach, FL and found Santa Rosa Shooting Center – what a great facility. I shot the 5-stand and the 14-station sporting clays course the first day and the sporting clays again the next day. Both the owners, Bill and Dick, made me feel more than welcome. Their staff was very nice and professional as well. Most of the targets are challenging and this is a beautiful range with nice equipment. If you’re in the Pensacola area, you need to take advantage of a great place to shoot!

Went by to shoot clays for the first time since the facility re-opened on Sunday. Was very impressed with the new setup, new equipment and the new card/count system. The new stands were very nice as was the very evident cleanup that had been done to the impact area, trails and the new widened bridge. Very clean and very well maintained with a friendly staff.
This is a duck type of clays setup VS a quail setup, with several crossing and several dropping birds, to simulate the type of shots you might see from a duck blind. Expect a mid level shoot as listed, with the option of replacing true pairs for reports to increase the difficulty for the advanced shooter.

I had the pleasure of shooting a round of sporting clays on this beautiful course the other day with some good friends and was blown away with all the changes. I had shot this course numerous times in the past and was excited to hear that it had reopened under new management but nothing could have prepared me for the amazing transformation! I highly recommend that if you are in the area that you give this facility a shot! You will find a very courteous staff to go along with all the new features that this facility has to offer.

Featuring an all new sporting clay range, skeet and trap field with a covered pavilion with fans and a 5 stand currently in the plans to be build. Also, a 22 pistol and 15 rifle shooting positions range under 2 covered pavilions with fans. Nothing like this in the area!

Well equipped, modern, well appointed gun range. Fees to use the range are $10 per person. Skeet, pistol range, rifle range. Obsessive about safety. I verify the location on the map shown for the Santa Rosa Sporting Clays and Gun Club on the claytargetsonline.com is correct.

12 station clays course in an “L” shape layout. Cost has gone up to $40.00 for 100 targets. This is NOT a beginners course. Presentations are a good mix of close in to long and fast shots. Maintenance of machines and course is fair at best. Call before you go to make sure that the course is open and not closed for a private meet. Dates of operation are Wed, Sat and Sun only.

Great place, well looked after. Fun & challenging sporting clays course (50/$20 or 100/$34) in a large “L” shape. 5-Stand that we didn’t have a chance to get to, but it looked in good shape. There is also a pistol & rifle range right next door, so bring all the toys. There are also shotgun pads available if you’d just like to hand throw your own.
