The Scott Rod & Gun Club will discontinue operations 30 April 2013 due to lack of funding for the military. Club members have formed a working committee looking into becoming a Private Organization and continue to provide skeet and trap range services. Please contact myself at mwpardue@sbcglobal.net should you have additional information on converting a military MWR or Services Club into a private organization.

    Thank you,
    Michael

This gun club has ‘untapped’ potential to be the most successful Gun Club in the area. It is on a military base, so accessibility might be an issue for some who are interested. However it is not hard gain access with the proper identification (driver’s license, insurance – no Al Qaeda please!). Call and inquire – these are a great group of guys…

Excellent place to shoot! It’s best to take a friend along to throw the targets. A round of trap or skeet is VERY reasonable, and the staff is friendly. Since your group throws their own targets, you move at your own pace…which is a bonus. A++++++
