As the webmaster of this site, I really don’t do many reviews as I am always maintaining and editing the site and it never really occurs to me to write one.
Sportsman’s Gun Club deserves an exception. I just shot what is probably my 7th or 8th competition there in the last 5 years and my experience was as good as it always is.
Aside from the well kept club and the excellent food, the people, especially Randall King and David Terrell, go out of their way to make sure you know that you are welcome.
On my first trip many years ago Randall (alternately described as president, owner, or King of the club) greeted me warmly and told me my presence was appreciated within 2 minutes of my arrival.
You can’t have a better experience at a skeet shoot. Fair warning though, if they like you at all you will have to put up with a fair ration of sh**. It’s part of the experience!

I just spent the weekend shooting a four gun shoot at this club. This is serious skeet country and this is a serious skeet club. These fields were laid out to minimize sun and maximize background. The pads are perfectly placed and level. They clean and maintain the fields and equipment. Everyone was complementary on the consistency of the targets thrown. The people are friendly giving that warm Georgia country feeling. I wish I lived a little closer so I could shoot here more often. I look forward to the next shoot.
