Great Place to Shoot Clays or Bird hunt. Brian and Andrea are friendly and good folks. Highly Recommend Sugar Creek.

I really enjoyed myself last year when 9 of us came there to practice. I really like the lay out. I will be coming back this year. Keep up the good job.

Shot a 100-target round of sporting clays. Big, attractive course with a good mix of creatively set targets – many quite challenging. Seems like they change the course quite frequently. They also offer trap, skeet, and 5-stand. Classy-looking clubhouse and friendly owner. Prices for targets and cart rental are very reasonable. Bit of a drive for me compared to my local club, but I’ll be back.

I have never been to a shooting facility that I have enjoyed as much as Sugar Creek. The owners (Brian and Andrea Waldbieser) and mother Jean are fantastic hosts. I shoot there at least once per week, and have never had a bad experience. My friends and I have gone on several hunts with Brian and his marvelous dogs as guide, and we are never disappointed.
If you like scenic beauty, friendly hosts, and a great shooting experience, visit Sugar Creek. You won’t be disappointed!

For Shooting Clays and Trap this facility is very good. The staff are friendly and quite knowledgeable. My times there have been most enjoyable and would [will] go back at the drop of a hat.

I started shooting Skeet, Trap, 5 Stand & Sporting Clays and hunting here last year. What a terrific place. Clean, friendly, and safe. I have shot & hunted at most of the places in Southern Indiana and this is by far the BEST. Give it a try.

I try to visit Sugar Creek twice a week because I love to shoot skeet, 5 stand, and sporting clays and I have found no better place. Excellent facilities. Brian, his mother Jean and father Dale run a very friendly facility. Brian has given me excellent instruction (when I’ve asked for it) and it works well for the beginner as well as the experienced shooter.
And I’ve so enjoyed the hunting with Brian as guide. What dog work! He has a magical way with them that is to be admired.
The price is right, the people are friendly, and I always enjoy myself. Even if I didn’t shoot, the scenery is worth the trip. What a nice lodge!

I had a blast shooting with a couple of other gentleman at Sugar Creek on Aug. 14th. What a great way to spend the day off, with a new pump action shotgun from as a B-day gift to myself.
Once I found the facility, it was very casual, Brian and the others were sitting outside the lodge at a picnic table. I had a few questions, and was brand spanking new to skeet, and shotguns in general. Not new to firearms, and pistol matches, but new to this.
Brian said whenever you guys are ready, we’ll shoot a round of skeet. He explained it would consist of 25 shots, and all were great at explaining high house, low house, doubles, etc…I got to observe the 2 gentleman ahead of me, so I could get a feel for how it works.
13/25 on the first round, and blew it with 9/25 on the second round of skeet. I guess I need more practice, can’t wait to go back soon, and I’m trying to get co-workers and friends to check it out.
It’s good to call ahead to see if you can shoot through the weekdays, as well as weekends. No trouble getting to shoot, very casual, low pressure, as everyone watches out for the others.
$4 per round (I did 2 rounds) of skeet well spent that day. Doubles with a pump action shotgun is awesome!
Thank you Sugar Creek, Jason D.

Had the opportunity to visit Sugar Creek last weekend and was impressed. It’s shaping up to be a real nice range. I used the skeet ranges, but didn’t get to check out the sporting clays range. Real nice folks, nice place to shoot.
