I have been a member of Sunset Farm Sporting Clays for 15 years or more. When I started my only shotgunning experience was some skeet. These folks were so friendly and so long as I was safe it did not matter what my skill level was. Their members welcomed me on their squad and really got me going. They helped me with equipment, the right ammo and more importantly got me breaking clays!
The site is simply beautiful. You will think that you are out there actually hunting grouse, ducks, or whatever. Give them a try. You will be welcomed no matter your skill level.

I have been to Sunset Farms for a number of their registered Sporting Clay tournaments. The Ducks Unlimited a few times and last summer the Rocky Mountain Elks tournament. The guys at Sunset Farms always put on a great event, with great targets and great people. I have to make a point to come here more often for these tournaments. I am never disappointed and always have a great time.

I attended Sunset Farms recently for a DU fundraiser. The gentlemen running this facility are good guys and did a great job. The grounds are very nice and well kept, nice setting down and old carriage trail through the woods (mainly pine), around a few ponds, and through an open field. good mix of manual and auto traps, from what I’m told each year new autos are replacing the manuals. the target presentations were great, good mix of difficulty levels, some targets to pad your score, lots of very breakable targets that made you think, and a few of those separator targets that really test your skills. I will surely be back to this facility many times in my future of shooting and enjoy seeing these guys at my facility as well.
