We visited SureShot in early March 2017. The Office/Gun Shop is well stocked and the Restrooms are very clean. The lady, maybe owned was friendly, professional, very knowledgeable. The Range Offficer gave us instructions about operation . And shooting rules. They have Cold and Hot Range lights ,which I feel should be mandatory on all ranges. The logistics are great. Thank for all the fun, we will be back.

As someone whom has known June and Rusty Bryant for close to 60 as of this July 19th 2016 …. years now as part of June’s side of the Family …

I can say Rusty is as HONEST as they come and as far as June Paul Teich Bryant is concerned she is as Gracious and Truly a Southern Lady which runs in the Paul side of the Family.

(The kind that makes you feel like your at home ) as her Mother Aunt Myra Paul Teich and Great Grandmother Bertha and Great Grandfather Grover Paul this Family have been TRUE Pioneers in this area…..Always willing to WELCOME anyone that stopped at their Door.

I hope you visit their Business and enjoy some Southern Down Home Comfort !

As always June and Rusty are the Best of the Best…

Just to say I know them means some much as June and Rusty have meant so much to our side of the Paul Family

    SUPER FOLKS…………….

True Southern Hospitality you will find with these folks

While the family was vacationing in the Emerald Isle, I was looking for something to do besides just sit on the beach and get sand in my eyes. A quick search on ClayTargetsOnline and I found this place.

The 5 stand setup was quite nice. There were 7 launchers and this created quite a few challenging pairs. Even though I was melting in the late July heat, I was still having too much fun shooting to stop.

Even though I didn’t shoot on the 500 yard range this year, I would like to do that next year as well as utilize their steel pistol range.

The owners and the head RSO were real friendly and accommodating (actually, everyone was). The store was well stocked and pricing was quite reasonable. There are also firearms available to rent. I was able to come out and shoot on two different occasions this trip for a total of 24 rounds of 5 stand. I’m really looking forward to going back next year!

As a retired Marine & LEO the wife and I recently relocated to Havelock, NC. Having utilized many ranges during my years as a police officer, I found this range to be operated in a VERY safe manner. Rusty and June as well as thier employees are extremely helpful. You might be able to safe a couple of dollars by ordering wanted items on line, however, thier prices are very much in line & most importantly they are there in case of a problem and no postage! I look forward to doing business with them as well as using the range.

    Most respectfully,
    Larry

Don’t believe everything you read! This place is great! Friendly people, decent prices and they even have some rental firearms! The range is very safe without being too awful restrictive. I have been to ranges before that give me flashbacks, this one finds a good balance between military and civilian ranges. I would not hesitate bringing my whole family to shoot here either. They actually have signs posted reminding everyone to watch their language so everyone can enjoy what they have to offer. You won’t find that anywhere else around here!

The facility is very clean and the folks pretty friendly. $15 for an all day shoot isn’t too bad, but if you are only there to sight in or check a rifle for season it doesn’t take all day so the cost stacks up fast.

During my last two visits I noticed the following.

    1. They haven’t any sand bags for the benches. You must rent any bags you need, or bring your own. Duct tapped gallon bags aren’t hard to make/maintain guys.
    2. There are no lift cushions for shorter shooters. if you aren’t at least 5’9 you’ll have trouble on the benches. Again, bring your own.
    3. Cease fires are not set at a rhythm. You have to go ask for one if you are wanting to check POI’s on your targets.
    4. There is no separate area for Semi-auto’s so you end up with a guy with 28 rounds two tables down from you bouncing brass off your neck/back/head for 2 minutes at a time while he just plugs away at cardboard. Really annoying! Hard to shoot for MOA when you have that happening over you.
    5. They need to do something about drainage down range. It’s a danged swamp past 50 yards. Run a ditch through there please!
    6. Please! Please Please! build some kind of slotting system for targets. There are no yard markers, and nothing to marry up your target with your bench. it’s a goat rope when it comes putting the targets up.
    7. Half the trap stations were out last time went. However, the ones that did work, were great and the kid running it was great!

With the above improvements the place could be phenomenal! Staff is very nice, place is clean and well kept. separate pistol range is VERY nice that way they dont’ have to stop while the rifle guys are down range.
They’ve even got snacks for the kids!

Spent the day here, top notch facilities and the best people you would ever want to meet. If you are into shooting sports or just want to sight in that new gun, I highly recommend Sureshot. Super Clean is an understatement, these guys go out of their way to make you feel at home.

This is a new facility run by Rusty and June and the range was opened about May of 2011. They are down home folks and are friendly as or better than your on family. They are very knowledgeable and the facility is second to none. It is a very active range and very modern. They are still adding on and bringing up different activities but it is really a wonderful, FAMILY, oriented facility. They have posted signs asking people to be aware of their language, as it is family oriented. They have all types of ammo on the grounds and it is really a wonderful place to go and visit or shoot.
My Wife and I are both active shotgun shooters and I am a member of the Armed Forces Skeet Shooting Hall of Fame and I have seen a club or two and this one is great. The best part is they STRESS SAFETY.

SureShot Gunsports is a real shooting range. Recently opened SureShot is a state of the art range with 25 to 500′ pistol and rifle ranges along with sporting clays, a gun shop and class room.
The owners Jun and Rusty Bryan have been in the gun sport business for many years owning Adams Creek Gunsports before opening SureShot and are very knowledgeable about what they do. I would STRONGLY advise anyone interested in a great place to shoot to check them out.

They do not answer the phone and their website say the club will not be opening; the facility is for sale.

The club is real, I’ve been there and it should be in operation by the end of July, 2010.

The owners stated that they are moving this establishment to another location so to the first reviewer who stated that it does not exist let me assure him it does. I live on some adjoining property and have to pass this gun club every day. It is still in the developmental stages but truly coming right along. If anyone does not believe it is actually a real business I have a picture of their elaborate Morton Building…NICE! They have been building their burms and have a couple of skeet sheds also. It is really going to be a nice nice place once it is in full swing. A little out of the way as well it should be due to the noise.

This is a fictional club. It does not exist. I have called the telephone number and left messages and recieved no response. I recently attempted to visit the so called “gun club” and found a rusty old car and a rickety barn on the property of the address listed.
    Don’t waste your time.
