On a recent visit to Mississippi, my brother and I visited Tall Creek. There were so few reviews available that we didn’t know what to expect. If you are looking for a big, fancy club house, a fully equipped pro shop, or elaborate shooting stands, don’t go here. This is a very basic club with a friendly, helpful manager who knows how to set challenging targets. The layout is basically in a big circle in an open field, but with the targets set against a wooded backdrop that requires absolute focus or you will miss what at first appears to be easy targets – they are not.
Tommy Easterling, the manager, threw the targets for us and enjoyed watching us shoot, sometimes well, sometimes poorly. He was an absolute delight to spend a few hours with.
There are no programmable controllers, so either take someone with you, or call ahead of time to make arrangements with Tommy. Not a fancy club, but the equipment was in good shape, the targets were both fun and challenging. Had a great day. Will return.

Sporting Clays is being revamped but has promise. 5-Stand is also new but he’s bought brand new traps so it also has promise. Very nice owner, took me out himself to throw targets. I recommend calling first in case no one is there.
