My brother, Eddie and I paid our first visit to Taylor Creek this past weekend. What a pleasant surprise. Every now and then you discover a hidden jewel. This is it. Friendly staff. Beautifully manicured environment. Targets that meet the demands of both the novice and advanced shooter. Everything that a shooter could want.
Nicely built shooting stations that shield you from the sun and lots of shade provided by the surrounding trees made for a very comfortable shooting session in the hot southern summer sun. The menu targets are set up for intermediate skilled shooters, with a sufficient number of 3rd or even 4th traps on some stations that provide plenty of challenge for the more advanced shooter. The more advanced setups were all that we could handle.
This was a truly pleasant experience. When I travel through this area in the future, I will definitely drop by for a repeat experience. If I lived anywhere near this area, I would quickly join as a new Member. The current members are very fortunate to have such a fine facility. Thank you, Chris, for a great day of Clays.

Stopped by on a Saturday while staying in Mississippi and shot a round of sporting clays. Nice, well kept course in a coastal pine forest. The terrain is pancake-flat but that’s compensated for with a couple of elevated shooting stations and creative target setting. When we shot, one of the stations was closed due to an ongoing pheasant hunt, but station 1 had 4 throwers so we just shot it as 2 different stations.
All of the infrastructure is very well-built and maintained, with roofed stands at every station. The manager and the other members we talked to were all very friendly and welcoming. Will be back the next time I’m in the area.

Finally, a great place in Mobile County, AL! We had a great time at Taylor Creek last Saturday, September 20th, 2014. Called Chris to confirm location and setup. When we got there, Bill had the extra 12 ga shells we asked for on the cart ready to go. For opening October 2013, these guys have it. Great sporting clays course, 5 stand and skeet field. While it is developing, it is top notch and will improve over time. Very comfortable house/office. Nice people. Spread the word – Taylor Creek is a great place to shoot!

This facility offers bird hunts and clays in a relaxed, old south hunting club environment. The clays course is quality. While it’s missing some natural terrain features, Keith’s imagination at setting traps really compensates. As a compliment, his sets can be deviant and mind-bending. Bill is awesome and you’ll really enjoy yourself at this facility.
