I’ve been shooting Trap for over thirty years but never had a better experience than when I started shooting with David Judah, the Club Manager. He is a professional par excellence, and wonderful teacher. The club is a magnificent place for family, with great skeet and trap, and a beautiful and challenging sporting clays course. The views from the top of the mountain are tremendous but distracting. I try to get back to the Homestead at least once a year but always spend at least half a day brushing up with David. He’s the best.

Excellent facility and staff. The Homestead will readily accept members and they are very friendly and ready to help make your day of shooting a first rate experience. I had trouble trying to join another skeet gun club and range because of very limited membership opportunities–you won’t find that kind of frustrating experience at the Homestead. I am looking forward to shooting at the Homestead on a regular basis and meeting other member shooters there who enjoy the experience.

I joined the Homestead Shooting Club last year (2005). I take my wife and son over every weekend we can get there. We shoot some Trap for warm-up and then out to the Sporting Clays range. I will renew my membership because the staff and the facility are first class, and they are always trying to make improvements. Visitors are welcomed warmly. First-time shooters can get friendly instruction in Trap, Skeet, and Clays. The Five Stand is interesting and challenging. Even though it is 90 minutes to drive there, it is worth the trip every time.

One of the best courses I’ve visited. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a GREAT time. I look forward to our next visit. Thanks Jimmy!!

The first time I ever shot Sporting clays or trap was last year at the Homestead. I had a great time!! The staff was very attentive and provided excellent instruction to a new shooter. The sporting clays course was well laid out with many different target presentations. The range itself is very attractive – take your wife shooting, she’ll love the scenery. They have a wide variety of shotguns to use – range fee includes ammo and gun rental. They had Beretta auto loaders and over & under for guests to use. They also provide a shooting vest for you to use while on the course. I plan on going again soon – -JW
