This is an excellent course. It has a good mix of challenging stations.

5/13/13= I shot this clays range and I must say it is one of the finest clays ranges I have ever visited. I have shot at lot of ranges in east and west Florida. Los Angelas, Las Vegas ,Dallas , Pennylvania and Virginia.
The set up with three different shooting positions for each station is clever. Each of the three positions (green, blue, red ) represent progressively harder shooting at each station. This set up is particularly well suited for small bore 28ga and 410 shooting. Most targets are in hardwood forest area but the shooting is clear to the birds thrown.
The course is 1.2 miles long and covers 16 stations- so you might want to rent a golf cart at $10 per round- two people max per cart. The fees were low at $35 per hundred.
I will definitely be back to this range.

What a great shooting course!! It was my first trip to Thunder Ridge and my friends and let me tell you, it was great! We shot only 50 rounds, first 9 stations and we were extremely satisfied. Great lodge with beautiful mounts on the walls. Next time we will shoot the hole course.

We travel from NJ to Pa at least twice a month, and shoot at Thunder Ridge everytime, weather permitting, and sometimes, Jack will shoot no matter how cold it gets. Very pretty landscape, the course in 16 stations and 3 skill levels, we never get bored! Bill changes the patterns often. Owners are friendly and very helpful………..we highly recommend that you try it out, you won’t be disappointed! The office /lodge is decorated with many fantastic mounts, birds, deer, bears, etc. comfy sofa’s and chairs to rest on when your shoot is through, and you can warm up by the woodstove in colder weather and shoot the breeze! Have shot at a lot of sporting clay courses, but this one is stellar. Targets are shootable, but tricky. Lot of different angles and elevation changes. Landscape around shooting stations was manicured to a tee, and all the grass was cut. Most of the stations have beautiful views, looking over the corn fields and rolling hills. Only had 2 broke birds coming from traps, over the 14 station course. If you are a true sporting clay shooter don’t miss this one if you are in the area. You can bet I will be back next year for sure.
