This a unique and friendly B&B tucked back in the woods of the Shawnee National Forest. Owners Rich and Deborah were extremely hospitable being that we call the afternoon prior and then interrupted their Saturday on the weekend prior to Christmas (reservations requested). The course is very friendly for novice and beginning shooters with open chokes. Do not take from this thumbs up note that the course is a total cake walk. The setup provides both developing and skilled shooters with a solid training opportunity for near and far window shooting while strobing amongst the trees and shadows. Another benefit is strengthening your mental acuity as it works to lull you into running the course and then wham a strong punch of the accelerator. Tristan, good work on the pulls today as you made this a great visit for my brother, son and I and now a possible annual opportunity.

Good ‘woodsy’ course, good people. Short shots, long shots, most had small shooting windows. Reservations a MUST! Lodge has a restaurant, though I didn’t partake. Hunting (waterfowl, deer, turkey?) is also available in season.
