Had the same experience as the previous review. Except we drove a lot farther (6 hours) to find out they were bought out by the DNR. Their website is still up though. Terre Haute Sporting clays saved us too.

I am an avid shooter and I can truly say this is the nicest shooting range I have ever stepped foot on and the hert family are on top of their game. The sporting clay range is unbelievable with every kind of terrain you can think of with many shots over water. They have an unbelievable lodge with a walk in vault for gun sales. John runs the business and his son Jerid runs the shooting facility. and takes care of gun sales. They are temporarily closed but will be open again by August!

Extremely disappointed!! Tried contacting Triple H via phone and e-mail and never received a response.. Called the Linton Police department to see if Triple H was open and they said yes… We made the 3 hour and 40 minute drive yesterday, only to find out that they were closed and haven’t been operational in months!! Disappointed we decided to go Terre Haute Sporting Clays, which ended up saving our trip and weekend..

One of the best run locations in the state. Run by the Hert family. Features 2 skeet fields and three trap fields (one is combined w/ a skeet field) as well as 5-stand (undergoing renovation) as well as a great Sporting Clays layout. Targets on the SC field are challenging and interesting. The shots will be from above and below your feet. The SC range is laid out on old coal spoils so the presentations are always fun. SC has up to 16 stations but is generally laid out in 12 – 15. Good food, great people and wonderful club. Monday’s they have trap games and then have pick-up Blue Grass played in the clubhouse.
