Nice facility, nice people. Wife and I where there on vacation and shot sporting clays. Agree that the background is pretty similar from station to station and the presentations were good. Had fun will be back.

1 mile of Trap and Skeet fields…wow, just wow… Too bad I shoot Sporting Clays.
The club itself is huge, modern, well maintained, and very friendly. I went down just after the big Southwest Sporting Clays Championship. They certainly did not disappoint on scale: they had 2 full 100 round Sporting Clay ranges, a sub-gauge course and FITASC set up. Sadly no one to throw FITASC. The targets however weren’t quite as spectacular, but they did a good job with what they have. The terrain is flat, very flat, with lots of 2-8′ scrub. They do a good job of hiding targets, and playing with visibility, but there is only so much you can do.
They had a great system to for counting birds. Little counter plugs into the stand, keeps track, you pay for what you shoot rather than the pre-paid cards.

This is a nice place to shoot. The range is clean, well managed and the club house was about the same. I shoot trap all over the west coast, this facility is on my top five! I only wish it was a little closer to Sacramento. Enjoy…
