Other than once or twice for seperate events, I have attended the Waunakee Gun Club annual Waterfowl Flurry for the past 7 years in a row…
These people know how to make any/everyone feel welcome.
We go there for the shooting of course, but the people there make us feel like it’s our home club…”The flurry” as we’ve come to call it up in Green Bay, is the most fun you can possibly have at a nonregistered fun shoot…5 stations of team shooting..you and a partner enter the shooting boxes together and see 100 targets across five stations. 20 targets per station. They put a phenomenal amount of energy and effort forth, to be sure everything runs safely, smoothly and fun for everyone. Veteran, rookie, doesn’t matter to these folks…you will have fun and you will feel like you have been there numerous times…and at the flurry, if you do not go away from there with a good prize of some sort, you have worse luck then me cause I go home with some thoughtful door and raffle prizes. try this shoot..it’s always in the beginning of September…see ya there!

The course changes every week due to the fantastic man Joe. True pair, report pair, and bunnies. All of this course is absolutely amazing and fun. Also has 3-D archery, that’s a blast, also. I recommend visiting this club.

We were in town for a wedding shower and I called the club on a Saturday when they are normally closed. Joe, the club manager, happened to be there preparing for a bachelor party shoot and he couldn’t have been more accommodating. The course is 50 targets and doesn’t have time delay release, so Joe shoot with me. The targets were great fun, all types, course was clean, well maintained, everything worked, they make great use of elevated platforms for the shooters and/or traps. The price was $18 for 50 birds. I would heartily recommend it to everyone. Here is how we found it from the west side of Madison. Route 12 north to Route 19 turn right and travel 1.5 milles, left on Kucher turns into Kopp travel 1.4, left on Hyslop 2.3 miles, right on Stevenson travel 1.2 miles, right on Ripp, club is .8 on the left. Shoot it again on Saturday. Great club, great manager. Enjoy
