I first visited this club in 1988, right after they installed the sporting clays course. Many don’t realize that W&R was one of, if not the very first sporting clays courses on Ohio. Anyway, I’ve visited this club numerous times. I no longer live in Ohio, but hope to stop by for a round of clays on an upcoming visit.

I have been an employee of the hunt club for roughly 8 years off an on. Jamie is a great boss and people person. Along with the thing listed above WR offers a 3D archery course, guided hunts, a five stand, and numerous other activities. Any questions feel free to call him on either the club phone which is listed or his cell phone (419)656-4107 and he will gladly help you out.

I took my son and daughter and grandson to shoot today at the club and had a great time. We all loved it. Amber was very friendly and very patient with us. She did a great job throwing birds for us. Thanks again Jamie!!

Challenging sporting clay course. Bird hunt is better on member fields and more challenging when cover is still intact. Feeling like a champ ask Jamie to shoot with you. You will have a great piece of humble pie. Try the pheasant soup. Nice facility and great place to warm up for the upcoming bird seasons.

Great time was had by our group of 24 for sporting clays. Nice wooded acreage with friendly helpful personnel. Nice lodge with a good lunch menu. We will be back again !!!

My brothers wife gave him (a member @ WR) a surprise birthday party at the club. Four of the guys hunted. Many friends joined us later for the party at the lodge. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The meal they catered was delicious and there was plenty of it. A great time was had by all!!
Thanks folks!!

Great place to shoot. Taking my daughter and her friend to shoot the sporting clay course soon and bird hunting in the fall. Beautiful place! Can’t wait to go back!

Update: I have enjoyed the hunting – the lodge – food and mostly the people so much, that I have rejoined as a member and now take business associates. The clay target shooting is a great warm up to a usually great experience. Thanks Jamie!

I took my 3 sons hunting & shooting there based on a referral. From the start, the people are great. I prefer the tower clay targets for my newer shooters/hunters and the cost of $5 per 25 is great. I have hunted there using my dog & theirs and both experiences good & successful. They have a small but cool lodge and the pheasant soup is good & hearty. Jamie is third generation and oversees things first hand that adds a customer service quality that is rare today. I enjoyed it so much I became a member. I recommend this club and especially for those hunters that want to enjoy some great shooting & hunting with a junior person – memories: priceless! Thanks Jamie!

This is a family run club that offers a variety of hunting options including pheasant. I have taken my, now 12 year old, son there for the past two years to hunt pheasant. Nothing can compare to the experience of watching your child taking a few birds on a crisp fall morning with nature at its colorful best, a guide with his dog to retrieve and point out birds, and then enjoying lunch at the clubhouse with a bowl of there pheasant soup. Jamie does a great job running the show and the atmosphere is family friendly. There is also a 50 bird or 100 bird sporting clays course that winds its way through a wooded setting, challenging the best of shooters. Overall a fun experience.

Mostly a hunt club, but they do have a decent sporting clays course.
Very challenging. Some stations are almost ridiculous and if you hit the second bird you are lucky. Can use a little better set up on some of the stations to make it a little more fun.
